This is a place where I document my research on the LSC Smart Connect Doorbell.

I purchased the device some time ago and have used it for a short while. However I decided not to use it anymore in its current state.

Personally I'm not a big fan of having a camera/intercom system that is connected to the internet through a third party of which I can't be sure handles my data in a private and secure way. It is also quite easy to hack the device given physical access to the MicroSd card slot (although it would be tricky to gain physical access to the slot without being noticed).

Let's see if it's possible to do better and what else can be done!
