Beautifully written recursive solution! Great job Ariana.
Bonus points for checking for nil. If this were asked at an interview, would be nice to check with the interviewer on what to do with negative input numbers too.

Nice work, this is a great recursive solution! Your space & time complexities are correct as well. Nice work figuring out the memory complexity.
