I like the idea of this project. It's fun and funny. I did not like doing this project.
With the technical problems (wrong gems, broken gems, etc), the loading time to contact the APIs, and the many new concepts introduced, I could have easily spent 2 weeks on this. As it is the assignment is incomplete, even though I've spent ~40 hours cumulatively on it.
Having said that, I do think I have some sort of a grasp on APIs. But I really, really wish I had had more time (specifically because I have only 1 test) with this project.
