Origin Story

On February 24, 2026, a prominent venture capitalist posted that he wanted to "fund the rebellion" and invest in "the wild, weird, and unconventional."

The replies delivered.

Within hours, the thread contained:

• Someone who "mathematically replaced alignment" (with a Substack and gradient buttons)
• A Norse mythology-themed pitch that opened with "Rebellion. Ragnarok."
• On-chain AGI infrastructure accompanied by mystical purple crystal mountain art
• A person asking if their "soul blockchain" could apply
• Grok enthusiastically validating that souls as entangled ledgers and the Rapture as a phase transition "fits the wild rebellion vibe"
• A quantum immortality theory where "you are the only conscious node in your simulation"
• One (1) legitimately good hardware wallet pitch, tragically buried directly beneath the soul blockchain reply

Meanwhile, a quiet reply sat untouched: "What if I said I hope someone took my ideas and ran with them?"
