Portable handoffs for coding agents

Doc Bridge v1.4.0 makes the same deterministic, read-only handoff available across more agent environments without coupling your documentation workflow to one editor or runtime.

The portable skill resolves where an agent may start, what it must read, which roots it may edit, and which checks it must run. Resolution is fail-closed: if the target or authority cannot be established safely, the agent stops instead of guessing.

🧱 New component testing model

Component testing moves to a stories and galleries model. A story wraps your component in one specific scenario — hard-coded props, mock data, providers — and a gallery page that you serve renders stories on demand. The new fixtures.mount() fixture navigates to the gallery, mounts a story by id, and returns a Locator scoped to the story's root element:
