My work sits at the intersection of software engineering, applied artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
On the engineering side, I build backend services, APIs, data-driven systems, and infrastructure with a focus on maintainability, reliability, and clear system design.
On the research side, I work with machine learning for distributed and security-sensitive environments, particularly federated learning, intrusion detection, IoT/edge systems, and privacy-aware AI.
I am currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Software Engineering and Information Systems at the University of Oulu, Finland, following a previous M.Sc. in Software Engineering focused on federated deep learning for intrusion detection.

This work investigates lightweight intrusion detection for resource-constrained dew and IIoT environments using a 1D-CNN and federated learning, enabling distributed model training without centralizing raw network traffic.
