Add progress bar when loading data

**Describe the use case that is addressed by this feature.**
I thought the SDK had hung forever because it was taking a long time to run the quick start demo.  But it was really just taking a few minutes to open the session. 

**Describe the solution you'd like**
Add a progress bar so you can see it has not hung but is just taking time to load.
