Statement on update

Hi! At the time this is meant to be read, Bastion has recently had an update and you've probably noticed some things are a little different. This new version of Bastion is a rewrite from the ground up because the previous version was built on some absolutely awful code as one of my first major projects ever. This new version should hopefully be more stable and easier to improve.

I've striven to recreate every feature the previous version had and more, but if I've missed anything, feel free to join the Discord server in the Readme and let me know!

Unfortunately, because this is a new version, server moderators may have to reconfigure things like prefixes and trivia channels. I'd love to have given advance warning, or even just make sure everyone can see this message, but because Bastion is a public bot I don't know the vast majority of its users. UPDATE Feb 23: One new feature is being able to choose whether or not Bastion displays anime and custom (april fools) cards, and the default is no. See the section on commands for moderators to learn how to turn them on if you so desire.

People following the project more closely may be aware of two related facts: I had grand plans for some more really fancy features, and I left this a long time without any progress on it. While some life circumstances were involved, I can't deny that I was also putting off updating because adding those features was very daunting. So, I've decided that rather than waiting for a perfect version that will never come, I'll release this version which I hope is still very good, and then I can still improve it once it's already out.
