The constants below were identified as not being used by someone else, but we should register/request official Ethernet types at some point.
- 0xC0DE - XIP
- 0xC0DF - NWP
The constant below was identified as unassigned by IANA, but we should register it down the line.
- 143 - XIP header after IP header (IPv4's protocol field)
- nat - 0x00 - Not A Type
- 0x01--0x0f are reserved for future use
- ad - 0x10 - Autonomous Domain
- hid - 0x11 - Host
- cid - 0x12 - Content
- sid - 0x13 - Service
- united4id - 0x14 - United 4ID
- i4id - 0x15 - XIP over IPv4
- u4id - 0x16 - XIP over UDP over IPv4
- xdp - 0x17 - eXpressive Datagram Protocol
- srvcid - 0x18 - Serval's serviceID
- flowid - 0x19 - Serval's flowID
- ether - 0x1a - Ethernet
- u6id - 0x1b - XIP over UDP over IPv6
- 0x1c--0x1f - FREE, PLEASE DON'T USE 0x22 UNTIL THESE IDs ARE GONE.
