🧰 Atlas Toolbox Beta Release v0.1.12

We are happy to announce the release the twelfth beta for the AtlasOS Toolbox. This update brings long awaited features, many bug fixes, and other improvements.

⚠️Notes on updating⚠️

Due to an issue on v0.1.11, upgrading to v0.1.12 is slightly different than on older versions. Here is what you should expect:

  • A "Null pointer exception" error after clicking "Yes" to the update prompt.
    • Click "Ok" when you see this. Toolbox should close
  • After ~10-15 seconds, the setup wizard should appear.
Note that this is only for upgrading to v0.1.12. This will not be an issue for future upgrade

🧪 Experiments

Experiments are new features that are still work-in-progress, and are meant to be tested heavily. Try to break them!
They can be toggled in the settings under the "Experimental Features" section.

Suggestions on how to make these better can be made on our Discord or via GitHub in the issues section by tagging it with the " Experimental Feature" label.

  • Added a search bar (WIP)
    • Currently brings you to the section of the selected setting. Planning for highlighting in the near future.

  • Many settings now have icons for more visual appeal and a better user experience.
    • These are not final, and are subject to change. More icons will be added in the future
  • Installer now prompts for an installation location
  • Installer now shows the license when installing
