ScreenGif - Capture GIFs directly in your browser!

ScreenGif is a Chrome extension that allows you to easily capture GIFs right in your browser. With just a few clicks, you can record and share GIFs of your screen or a specific window.

Features

Installation

To install the ScreenGif extension:

  1. Download the ZIP file of this repository and extract it.
  2. Go to chrome://extensions/ in your Chrome browser.
  3. Enable Developer Mode by clicking the toggle switch next to "Developer mode".
  4. Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the extracted folder.

Now the ScreenGif extension should be installed and ready to use!

Usage

To use the ScreenGif extension:

  1. Click the ScreenGif icon in your browser to open the side panel.
  2. Click the "Start Recording" button to begin capturing your GIF.
  3. When you're done, click the "Stop Recording" button.
  4. Use the "Edit GIF" button to crop and resize your GIF.
  5. Once you're happy with your GIF, you can download it or share it directly from the extension.
