ScreenGif is a Chrome extension that allows you to easily capture GIFs right in your browser. With just a few clicks, you can record and share GIFs of your screen or a specific window.
- Record GIFs: Capture anything on your screen or in a specific window and turn it into a GIF.
- Edit GIFs: Once you've captured a GIF, you can edit it directly in your browser. Resize and crop to focus on what's important.
- Instant Sharing: Easily share your GIFs directly from the extension.
To install the ScreenGif extension:
- Download the ZIP file of this repository and extract it.
- Go to
chrome://extensions/in your Chrome browser. - Enable Developer Mode by clicking the toggle switch next to "Developer mode".
- Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the extracted folder.
Now the ScreenGif extension should be installed and ready to use!
To use the ScreenGif extension:
- Click the ScreenGif icon in your browser to open the side panel.
- Click the "Start Recording" button to begin capturing your GIF.
- When you're done, click the "Stop Recording" button.
- Use the "Edit GIF" button to crop and resize your GIF.
- Once you're happy with your GIF, you can download it or share it directly from the extension.
