Local Development Setup

To set up MLOrbit for local development, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the Repository:

    git clone https://github.com/MLOrbit/MLOrbit-Website.git
    cd MLOrbit-Website
  2. Install Dependencies:

    Ensure you have Node.js installed. Then, run:

    npm install
  3. Configure Environment Variables:

    Create a .env file in the root directory and add your Firebase configuration:

    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_API_KEY=your-firebase-api-key
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=your-firebase-auth-domain
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID=your-firebase-project-id
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET=your-firebase-storage-bucket
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID=your-firebase-messaging-sender-id
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_APP_ID=your-firebase-app-id
    REACT_APP_FIREBASE_MEASUREMENT_ID=your-firebase-measurement-id

    Replace the placeholder values with your actual Firebase project credentials.

  4. Start the Development Server:

    npm start

    The application will run at http://localhost:3000.
