Section 704, events, calendars.
This project provides a simple yet effective desktop application that shows all upcoming events in the next two weeks. The project also supports custom tag searches to see all events of a certain type. It is written in Python with a tkinter interface. API calls occur during each request to be as up to date as possible without calling excessively.
For the user, this project provides a simple reminder for all deadlines in the upcoming two weeks. If the user wanted to find all deadlines of a certain type, they are also able to search up specific events by event tag for a specifiedview of their choice.
The program is written in Python with a UI using tkinter. There is no other notable points of interest, and run using the Python interpreter.
Capstone courses are intense and tend to have a lot of due dates that gets quickly overwhelming. Being able to have a way to sift through these dates and provide an easy-to-read way to review everything provides students a huge benefit to be as effective as possible!
There were no required resources outside of an understanding of python.
