Neo_overlay_Bullseye_20250404.img
This is an overlay of 2023 buster build. The overlay adds all the new code features but uses the older base code. This is to avoid the issue of incompatible device drivers that are now found in the later code modules.

This image is being issued with pre-release status for testing purposes.

RPi3B+_071723
Release based on 2022-01-28 raspios Buster and built on RPi3B+ target. This release incorporates improvements to the PxUSBm.py script, greatly reducing boot time. Immediately after burning this image, expect boot times to final login prompt of about 4 minutes as the processor handles disk resizing tasks. Subsequent boots will be in the 25 second range from power on to login prompt. This processor will often swap wlan numeric assignments which must be handled by the boot process. If such a swap is made, the AP (Access Point... ie, the SSID of the ConnectBox) will take about 2 minutes after power on to become active. If such a swap is not made, the AP will become active at about 45 seconds after power on is initiated.
RPi3B+_071923
This release is based on 2022-01-28 raspios Buster and was built on the RPi 3B+ target. It has been tested on RPi-3B+ and RPi ZeroW platforms. (Note: While this code will run on an RPi ZeroW, performance is very poor, and we do not recommend its use.)
This release incorporates code that will indicate that the AP is active by illuminating an LED + series resistor (typ 470 ohms) between 3.3v (pin 1) and GPIO6 (pin 31) of the RPi GPIO header. (Note: anode of the LED connected toward 3.3V.)
It is being published in pre-release status for testing.
