You'll require the source files to get the plugins. The plugins are the reason Cosmos appears on your "Create a Project" screen! You can get the files 2 ways.
- VS 2026
- Plugins & Source (Either download the repo, or install to VS 2022 and use the installed files.)
- Optional: VS 2022 (You'll need this if installing the plugins via VS 2022.)
- Find the plugin files. These are normally found at
C:Users/usernamegoeshere/AppData/Roaming/Cosmos User Kit/VSIX.
Above are the needed plugins to use Cosmos.
-
Install the plugins via double clicking on the VSIX Files. Double clicking will open your VSIX Installer app. If it says "Already installed" or something like that, it's because it isn't installing to VS 2026. You'll need to remove VS 2022. From what I know, there isn't a way around this.

Check VS 2026's "Create a Project" screen. If done correctly, Cosmos will be there!
First build may fail Only tested using the VS 2022 files. There shouldn't be any difference
