Pressed Wood

Pressed Wood is a cosmetic block added by Terumetal for building. It has a unique design with a smooth top and bottom and a pleasing horizontal pattern on the sides. Even better, it is also "cheaper" in that you can get more pressed wood than standard planks from a tree; it only requires a extra little processing.

Creating Pressed Wood requires Wood Mulch--made from putting wood logs or planks into an Expansion Crusher-- surrounding a single Plant Glue.

While two logs of wood would normally yield 8 planks, if made into Wood Mulch and then added to a piece of Plant Glue it would instead yield 16 Pressed Wood blocks--double the normal amount of building material.

Pressed Wood can be made into Heatline Blocks, and if the "stairs" mod is installed (normally part of the default Minetest game set) Pressed Wood can also be made into slabs and stairs of various types, too.
