X2

The Cypherock X2 is a new entry in Cypherock's hardware wallets. The aim of X2 is to solve previous limitation in the X1 and to avail more features to the users.

Hardware

The initial X2 development is based on the following components:

• MYD-LD25X Development Board
  • Based on the MYC-LD25X System On Module (SoM)
    • Model - MYC-LD257-8E2D-150-I
    • Processor - STM32MP257DAK3
      • Dual-Core ARM Cortex-A35 @ 1.5GHz
      • Single-Core ARM Cortex-M33 @ 400 MHz
    • RAM - 2GB LPDDR4
    • Storage - 8GB eMMC
  • WiFi 5 & Bluetooth 5.4 - AP6256
  • To access the documentation & other development resources:
    • Register https://developer.myir.cn & Login
    • Goto "My Products" Tab/Page
    • Enter the Product Name (PN), Serial Number (SN) & Click on "Add Now"
      • This can be found by scanning the QR on the development board or on the side of the box that the board came in.
    • Click on "View" button beside the newly added item to view the documentation & development resources.
• Waveshare UPS HAT C Power Module
• MYIR MY-CAM003M Camera Module
• Mikroe PN5180 NFC Module
• 800x480 Touch HDMI Display

The PCB design will be around these components too, Except for some components like display.

All of these components are combined into 1 single 3d printed enclosure for portability & ease of development, Hereby called "DevKit".

Software

The software development of X2 is split into 2 main categories:

1. OS Development
2. App Development
