LitTok the TikTok clone, is a social media app that lets users watch and create short 1 minute video clips that can be liked, commented on and shared with other users.
- Users have the ability to login, logout and sign up.
- Users are not required to login in order to use the application but will have a demo login to try out some of the logged in features.
- Users who aren’t logged in will be able to view content on the app but will not be able to comment, like or upload any videos.
- Videos will be displayed in the 'For You' page(homepage).
- Logged in users will have the ability to upload video clips(up to 1 minute in length) and add a description to the video.
- All users will have the ability to view videos and share videos.
- Users will have the ability to delete any videos that they created or edit any of the descriptions of videos they have uploaded.
- Logged in users will have the ability to comment on videos
- Logged out users will be prompted to login before being able to comment on a video
- Logged in users will have the ability to like videos and comments on those videos.
- Logged out users will be prompted to login before being able to like a video or comment.
- Videos will display the amount of likes it has.
- Logged in users will have the ability to follow other users.
- Logged out users will be prompted to login before following a user.
- Users will be able to unfollow users they follow
- Each user will have a profile with all of their videos.
- Logged in users will have the ability to filter videos on the homepage and switch from 'For You' to 'Following' in order to only show videos of users they are following.
