actions

There are three Indigo Actions available in the Announcements plugin. The Actions are found within the Device Actions group, under Announcements Controls.

• Refresh Announcement You may wish to have an Announcements Plugin device state update after a specific event has taken place. Use this action to refresh a specific announcement string on demand.

• Refresh All Announcements Use this action to force all announcements on all Announcements plugin devices to refresh immediately, regardless of their individual refresh interval.

• Speak Announcement Use this action to speak a specific announcement string. This action can be used to speak any valid Indigo device state or variable value. The plugin will try to convert the value to something that can be spoken, but there are likely things that will not lend themselves to the conversion. There's little danger in trying.
