Analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) discovered in alpha-synuclein relative to their coding sequence and/or isoforms. Identification of codons subject to post-translational modifications (PTMs), and subsequent evaluation of the physiological importance of SNPs located in the afore-mentioned codons.
