AnimeBatchRename

Batch renames files from anime notation to TV series notation.

Requirements

1. Microsoft Windows XP SP3 or better.
2. Microsoft .NET Platform 4.0 or better.

Installation

1. Download AnimeBatchRename.zip.
2. Extract the contents of the archive to a permanenent location.
3. Run the .bat file to register the application to the windows folder context menu.
4. Right-click in a folder containing the anime files and select Anime Batch Name to start AnimeBatchRename.

Instructions

This instruction is renaming episodes of Aria The Animation, the third season.

The title is initially the folder name. I change this title to Aria, which is the short title for the series.

The season is assumed to be the first season. I select the files, right-click and select Change Season.

The picture drama episodes are specials. I change the episode with +2 to match the site.

Now I just need to change the season of the specials to zero, and commit the changes.
