NOTE: This is for AstroNvim v4+

A template for getting started with AstroNvim

🛠️ Installation

Make a backup of your current nvim and shared folder

mv ~/.config/nvim ~/.config/nvim.bak
mv ~/.local/share/nvim ~/.local/share/nvim.bak
mv ~/.local/state/nvim ~/.local/state/nvim.bak
mv ~/.cache/nvim ~/.cache/nvim.bak

Create a new user repository from this template

Press the "Use this template" button above to create a new repository to store your user configuration.

You can also just clone this repository directly if you do not want to track your user configuration in GitHub.

Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/DelgadoElias/nvim-rv ~/.config/nvim

Start Neovim

nvim

Aditional Requirements:

• Install atac

Clipboard

For ubuntu:

sudo apt install xclip

Configurng Copilot

1. Make sure the copilot and copilot-chat plugins are enabled in the lua.plugins folder

2. Install the copilot CLI by running the following command in your terminal:

sudo apt install gh

3. Authenticate the CLI with your GitHub account by running the following command:

gh auth login

4. Install the github/gh-copilot plugin for github CLI

gh extension install github/gh-copilot
