Subspace Lattice

Nx monorepo for the Subspace Lattice board game — Firebase Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, with optional Tauri desktop shell.

Prerequisites

• Node 22+, Yarn 4 (Corepack)
• Firebase CLI (firebase-tools in this repo)
• Rust toolchain (for desktop): https://rustup.rs
• Firebase project: subspace-lattice

One-time Firebase setup

1. Enable Authentication → Anonymous + Google
2. Create a Firestore database
3. Register a Web app; copy config into apps/web/.env (see .env.example)
4. yarn firebase use subspace-lattice

Local development

yarn install

Firestore model

• roomCodes/{code} → { roomId }
• rooms/{roomId} — seats / members (Functions write only)
• rooms/{roomId}/meta/gameState
• rooms/{roomId}/chat/{messageId}
