GRC Brain AI

GRC Brain AI is a desktop application for secure, local management and querying of official GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), cybersecurity, legal, and risk information. It uses local LLMs (Ollama, Llama 3), RAG (ChromaDB), and a modern CustomTkinter GUI inspired by Copilot in VS Code.

Quick Start

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/DogSoulDev/GRC-Brain-AI.git
   cd GRC-Brain-AI
   

2. Install Python 3.11 or higher.
3. Install Ollama and pull the Llama 3 model:
   • Download from: https://ollama.com/download
   • Run:

     ollama serve
     ollama pull llama3:8b
     ollama list
     

   • Confirm llama3:8b is available.

2. Install Python 3.13 or higher.
3. Install Ollama and pull the Llama 3 model:
   • Download from: https://ollama.com/download
   • Run:

   • Confirm llama3:8b is available.
4. Install dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

5. Run the application:

   python main.py
