Project Management Templates & Frameworks

A curated collection of practical, ready-to-use project management templates, frameworks, and workflow tools. This repo is designed for clarity, consistency, and real-world delivery across Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid, and traditional project environments. This repository reflects how PM works: plan with intention, implement with structure, and support teams with systems that make work easier—not heavier.

📁 Repository Structure (Overview)

This repo is organized around the major phases of a project, plus the frameworks and documentation that support them:

Initiation - Project charters, stakeholder registers, communication plans, RACI matrices.

Planning - Kickoff Meeting Template, WBS outlines, sprint planning checklists, backlog grooming guides, estimation notes.

Execution - Standup notes, issue logs, change request templates, decision logs.

Monitoring & Control - RAID logs, risk registers, status report templates, KPI/metrics examples.

Closure -Retrospectives, handoff checklists, lessons learned templates.

Frameworks -PMBOK 8 notes, Agile/Scrum workflows, Kanban practices, hybrid delivery models.

Workflow Diagrams -Mermaid diagrams for onboarding flows, ticket triage, release processes, and other operational systems.

Documentation Templates -SOP templates, requirements gathering guides, meeting notes, and communication structures.

Professional Development -Resources for career growth, learning pathways, mentoring, and continuing education.

🛠 Tools & Formats

All templates are provided in:

  • Markdown (GitHub‑friendly)
  • Mermaid diagrams (rendered natively on GitHub)
  • Optional: PDF or DOCX versions (coming soon)

🎯 Purpose of This Repository

This repo exists to:

  • Provide clean, reusable PM templates
  • Structured thinking and documentation clarity
  • Support PM approaches (PMBOK + Agile/SCRUM)
  • Offer collected practical tools and an evolving toolkit.

It will continue to grow as I refine my toolkit and add new templates.

🧭 Project Management Philosophy

My approach to project management is grounded in clarity, structure, and inclusiveness. Strong initiation prevents downstream chaos, and communication is the foundation of alignment, trust, and successful delivery.

Espoused Values:

Clarity early. - Defining scope, expectations, and decision pathways before work begins. Protecting boundaries preventing scope creep through transparency and shared understanding.

Inclusive communication. - Design communication systems that support every voice — synchronous and asynchronous, introverted to extroverted, neurodiverse and neurotypical. Provide multiple ways to contribute, clear input windows, and accessible formats so no one is excluded from decision-making and input. The voice of every stakeholder is valued.

Accessibility and equity. - Ensure communication is readable, usable, and accessible for all team members and stakeholders. Share materials in advance, summarize decisions in writing, and avoid “meeting-only” decision making whenever possible.

Structured thinking. - Use templates, checklists, and thinking guides to bring consistency and rigor to every phase of the project lifecycle.

Human-centered leadership. - Projects succeed when people feel heard, respected, and supported. I prioritize psychological safety, thoughtful collaboration, and communication that meets people where they are.

Continuous alignment. - Maintain visibility, reinforce key messages, and keep stakeholders informed through purposeful, sustainable communication practices.

This philosophy shapes every artifact in this repository and reflects the core approach to real-world project work.
