[Bug] Jazzy binaries not available via apt despite README claiming support #304

Description

@akarhtutkaung

Environment

  • OS Version: Ubuntu 24.04
  • Source or binary build? Binary (latest)

Description

  • Expected behavior: The ros-jazzy-andino-* packages should be listed on the ROS Jazzy package status page and installable via apt, as stated in the README under "Install the binaries".
  • Actual behavior: No andino packages are available for Jazzy. The apt install command fails, and no results appear on the ROS Jazzy package status page.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Follow the README section "Install the binaries" and click the Jazzy link, or visit https://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_jazzy_default.html?q=andino directly.
  2. Observe that no andino packages are listed for the Jazzy distro.
  3. Attempt to install via apt:
sudo apt install ros-jazzy-andino-description

Output

No packages found via apt. The ROS Jazzy status page returns no results for andino: https://repo.ros2.org/status_page/ros_jazzy_default.html?q=andino

Note: Humble packages appear to be unaffected.
