FinShare is a lightweight, zero-installation file and text sharing application designed for local networks. The host runs the application locally, allowing any authorized user on the same network (Wi-Fi or hotspot) to instantly connect and collaborate via their web browser—no client-side installation required.

- Zero Client Install: Only the host needs to run the application. Clients can connect seamlessly using any modern web browser.
- Easy Access: Users can access the platform simply by navigating to
finshare.local:2004(or the host's configured port) while connected to the same network. - Configurable Ports: Easily modify the port and administrator/client credentials directly from the startup configuration window.
- Brute-Force Protection: Automatically tracks login attempts per device. Clients are restricted to a maximum of 5 attempts to prevent unauthorized access.
- Device Management: Monitor all connected devices in real-time, including their IP address, username, and login attempts.
- Access Control: Explicitly block malicious or unauthorized users from the network with a single click, or dynamically update client passwords.
- File Management: Centralized control to view, manage, and delete all uploaded files.
- Shared clipboard functionality allowing users to quickly copy, paste, and broadcast text snippets across connected devices instantly.
- Launch: Open the FinShare desktop application to initialize the server configuration window.
- Configure: Set your desired port (Default:
2004) and define your admin and client credentials. - Connect: Share the local address (
finshare.local:2004) with anyone on your local network to start transferring files and text securely.
