With out testing the setups and giving it a quick first glance:
- advanced smes need to be swapped back to the standard, engi can upgrade that if they want to in round
- sames goes for all the sensors pre-mapped for atmos pipe networks, if amtos wants sensors they should be settings them up
- the pre-mapped control rods are not the starting ones, they are upgrade replace with crates of CrateBohrumControlRod
- same with the fuel rods replace with CrateCerenkiteFuelRod if engi wants to run a better reactor upgrade in round
- whats the point of the water in the reactor room?
- don't add more flatpacks to the flatpack crates for the ame, this can lead to issues
- duplciate distro gas pipe in the ame room
- teg burn chamber is missing AtmosFixBlockerMarker in the burn chamber, gas will spawn in the chamber if you don't add these
- the teg burn chambers air sensor and air injector are hidden under raidators
- teg dose not have an emergency release valve for the hot loop, dosent matter if you pre-map it but leave a t-pipe so newer atmos can easily learn how to set it up

As far as I am aware, advanced SMES are intended to entirely replace regular SMES in the engineering department, to prevent blackouts coming so early. I couldn't find any guidelines for Euphoria mapping standards, so I'm intending to bring maps inline with wizden mapping standards.
Pipe sensors were added to be included in maps - as they're used as a diagnostic tool. Most atmos techs wouldn't add them themselves - especially since the monitoring consoles cannot be printed. This is also a change I'm making to try and bring it inline with wizden mapping standards.
The reactor uses the pre-filled reactor prototype, so if that's the case, this prototype should be changed as more maps will likely be getting reactors.
Same reason there's a big control room - Style! What kind of nuclear reactor doesn't have a big cooling pool? Rest of these are fair and I'll fix them.

May also be worth changing the reinforced plasma around the reactor to reinforced uranium, up to you though |
Considered it - but the difference is only 1 point of radiation resistance - and the reactor's radiation output is extremely variable and spikes a lot, so it wouldn't really mean much. If the radiation is high enough, that's what the blast doors are for. |
About the PR
Our map lineup is sorely suffering from a lack of maintenance as new features are added over time or existing features are tweaked and changed. One area that suffers the most from this is engineering - which is very sensitive to changes to power and atmospherics, which has a flow-on effect to everyone else in the round as they suffer from power failures and poor engineering response times.
This PR is intended to try and add some modernisations to Radstation's engineering department. This includes:
There was an existing PR to add a reactor to Radstation, but I have discussed with the author of it and they had opted to close their PR and use this one instead.
Why / Balance
Engineering is an extremely time-sensitive role at startup - as the station depends on the quick setup of a stable power supply. With the original engines available, the TEG was impossible to set up in a timely manner (missing an entire cooling loop), and the SM was a placeholder, making it useless for station power. This PR rectifies both of these by making the TEG a useable design and the SM being replaced with a reactor. It also introduces the reactor as a roundstart engine.
