Is there a way to include vertical guidelines and bookmark highlights in exported svg?

I'm trying to export some snapshots of Jbrowse2 (desktop application) for a figure and it would be nice to use svg's instead of screenshots. I have a particular region bookmarked/highlighted, however it does not show up on the exported SVG. I want to make sure I'm not missing some option or functionality to do this. Additionally, the vertical guidelines would also be nice for visual clarity (imo, but I can see arguments against it).

we don't have highlights or vertical gridlines yet but we can try to add it in

one of the silly "blockers" is that the lines might go right through the track labels if we are not careful with how it's done (SVG text boxes are surprisingly tricky) but that shouldn't be a show stopper

(also that is a really cool demo of the mapping quality (??) not quite matching in the CNV region :)!!
