Roman detector functionality updates from hackathon: a taxonomy of bad pixels #1013

Description

@rmandelb
  • hot pixels (of order 1k out of 6M pixels, typically), including their IPC pattern

  • disconnected pixels: can't be read out or reset, keeps accumulating charge that leaks into 4 nearest neighbors

  • low QE pixels, e.g., due to contamination / dust - can simulate using a QE map

  • maps of IPC, persistence, etc. (enable spatial variations but also allow specific hot / low-QE / etc. pixels to have different behavior)

  • unstable pixels: normal -> hot mode -> normal
