I'm Gaurav Tiwari, a backend-first software engineer currently at IBM. While backend systems are my strength, I’ve consistently stepped into unfamiliar stacks and domains when the work called for it — from building React UIs for cloud deployments to writing embedded logic for IoT mesh networks and crafting ML pipelines for malware detection.
During my time at IBM, I built a deployment platform using Golang + React to automate multi-cloud installation of Instana editions over AWS, GCP, and IBM's internal cloud (Fyre). I also led backend integration for a biometric student outpass system used daily by over 1700 users on my college campus.
I enjoy solving hard problems, whether in systems design, low-level networking, or high-level product architecture — and I’ve solved 400+ LeetCode problems (rated 1580+) to keep my algorithmic skills sharp.
