Relevant Career experience

• Contractor, AMIkids, Inc., St. Petersburg, FL (Current). Highlights: Created seagrass monitoring protocol for use by disadvantaged students and corporate volunteers to learn ecological monitoring skills. Used R-Studio and QGIS for analysis.

• Ecologist, Tampa Bay Estuary Program, St. Petersburg, FL (2016-2022). Highlights: management of multiple projects, including habitat restoration & monitoring, harmful algal bloom assessment & remediation, and technical support.

• Assistant Manager, GTM Research Reserve, St. Augustine, FL (2013-2016). Highlights: oversight of the coordinators for the Research, Education, Coastal Training, Volunteer, and Resource Management programs as well as federal grants management.

• Park Services Specialist for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Aquatic Preserve Program, Sanford, FL (2010-2012). Highlights: preparing aquatic preserve management plan sections, TMDL and BMAP planning, wetland management and research activities, river clean-up, exotic plant control, education and outreach activities.
