  The issues linked to this milestone need to be resolved before we can begin investigation of the model settings we want to use for the next round of production runs. Once this milestone is complete, we will consider the old pipeline to be stable and no further development on the modeling code will be performed. (Development may continue on visualization and post-processing code, however.)
