Prompt Length Constraints

When we were testing promptenhancer-7b, we found that the rewritten prompts are much longer than the original ones, and sometimes there are also semantic deviations.

I would like to know if there are parameters to control the length of the rewritten prompts, and how to reduce the occurrence of semantic deviations.

PromptEnhancer-7B is designed as a lightweight version of PromptEnhancer-32B. Because it has fewer parameters, its overall reasoning and instruction-following capabilities are naturally more limited.

For the most accurate rewrites and the best overall experience, we strongly recommend using PromptEnhancer-32B. It handles complex semantic nuances much more effectively and is less prone to "drifting" from the original intent.
