Deleted the .vscode user settings folder that was likely added as a mistake
Created a .gitignore file for the directory so that the .vscode folder just doesn't get generated again. I also included ignore rules for JetBrains IDEs

Definitely not a mistake. This ensures similar settings for teams that agree to use the same editor. For a cross-IDE config, checkout https://editorconfig.org/ |
