Athena_Assist Wiki

Welcome to the Athena_Assist wiki! This is your comprehensive guide to understanding and utilizing the Athena project, a powerful tool designed to revolutionize your Forex trading experience. Let’s dive in!

What is Athena?

Athena is an advanced system that automates the process of gathering Forex market data from brokers and executing multiple trading strategies in real-time. It acts as your personal trading assistant, analyzing everything from market news to technical indicators, patterns, and signals across all 26 major currency pairs.

Once Athena identifies profitable opportunities, it notifies you via Telegram bots, ensuring you never miss a critical moment in the market.

Imagine having a professional bot that:

  • Monitors the market 24/7.
  • Analyzes news, technical indicators, chart patterns, and more.
  • Notifies you instantly on Telegram when action is required.

With Athena, you can trade smarter, not harder.

How Does Athena Work?

Step 1: Set Up Your Server

To run Athena, you’ll need a remote Ubuntu virtual server with the following minimum specifications:

  • 12 GB RAM
  • 6 vCore CPU
  • 60 GB HDD

This ensures smooth performance for running multiple containers and handling real-time data processing.

Step 2: Install Docker

Docker is the backbone of Athena's architecture. It allows us to create isolated environments for different components of the system. After installing Docker, you’ll set up two containers:

  1. Traefik:

    • Routes all incoming traffic through ports 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS).
    • Ensures secure and efficient communication between services.
  2. Athena Container:

    • Built using the FastAPI framework, which is one of the best Python frameworks for asynchronous and real-time operations.
    • Handles data collection, strategy execution, and notifications.

Step 3: Deploy and Run

Once the containers are configured, Athena will begin collecting Forex market data, running strategies, and sending alerts directly to your Telegram account.

Key Features

  • Comprehensive Market Analysis: From news to technical indicators, Athena covers it all.
  • Real-Time Notifications: Stay updated with instant messages via Telegram bots.
  • Scalable Architecture: Built using Docker and FastAPI for seamless scalability and performance.
