Business Intelligence Dashboards

A concise, professional home for multiple BI dashboards. This workspace groups analytics projects so stakeholders can quickly find, open, and evaluate insights across domains.

At a Glance

  • Purpose: Central folder for Power BI dashboards and related assets
  • Tools: Power BI Desktop (latest), optional Excel/CSV sources
  • Domains: Healthcare (Emergency), Sales & Revenue Analytics
  • Status: Active and growing — more dashboards can be added

Dashboards

  • Hospital Emergency Dashboard — Monitor triage volume, wait times, bed/room occupancy, clinician utilization, and key outcome metrics. See folder: Dashbord_Hospital-emergency.
  • Sales Analytics Dashboard — Track revenue, growth, product mix, customer segments, regional performance, and outliers. See folder: Sales_Analytics_dashbord.

How to Use

  1. Install Power BI Desktop (free) from Microsoft Store or official site.
  2. Open the relevant folder and locate the .pbix file (when provided), or follow the folder README for instructions.
  3. If a dataset is provided, refresh the data model in Power BI Desktop.
  4. Review pages, slicers, and bookmarks; validate KPIs and filters.

Design Principles

  • Clarity: Clean visuals, minimal cognitive load, and practical KPIs
  • Consistency: Standardized colors, typography, and layout across pages
  • Accessibility: Legible contrasts and sensible color use
  • Performance: Optimized visuals, measures, and query reduction techniques

Screenshots (Optional)

Add PNG/JPEG images to an assets/ subfolder inside each dashboard and reference them from that folder’s README. Example:

Contributing & Feedback

  • Issues: Propose enhancements or report problems in the relevant dashboard folder
  • Additions: New domain dashboards are welcome — keep naming clear and include a README
  • Reviews: Use a consistent peer review checklist (KPI correctness, UX, performance)

Need help prioritizing KPIs or polishing visuals? Open an issue in the appropriate dashboard folder and describe your goals and audience.
