I'm Elie, a senior software engineer and technical lead in Beirut, Lebanon. I've been writing software since 2014 and leading engineering since 2022, before the AI coding boom.
My work spans telecom infrastructure, national education platforms, and enterprise analytics software.
I build Knowi's enterprise analytics platform, used by Lockheed Martin, Verizon, Telstra, and Paramount. My work covers the product itself, embedded analytics, and customer integrations.
- Built the theming and white-labelling system for embedded analytics, from the CSS engine to the visual editor.
- Delivered Shopify and Recharge integrations, including OAuth, billing, and webhooks.
- Built AgenticBI's orchestration layer, integrated four LLM providers, and shipped the MCP server and Slack / Teams integrations.
I helped grow Simly into the largest eSIM marketplace in MENA.
- Led 10 frontend and backend engineers, owning architecture, code review, and technical direction.
- Built event-driven TypeScript / Node.js services with RabbitMQ and Kubernetes.
Partner integrations I delivered: Apple, Booking.com, Shahid, and Almosafer, alongside regional telecom providers.

- Egyptian Ministry of Education · Full Stack Software Engineer (May 2023 - Feb 2026). Built and scaled ESTest and ESAbroad, integrated exam payments, and supported tens of thousands of concurrent users during peak exam seasons.
- Lyxa · Project Coordinator / Tech Lead (Sep 2024 - Nov 2025). Led the architecture and engineering workflows for a food-delivery platform using tRPC, RabbitMQ, BullMQ, and Kubernetes.
- Murex · Backend Software Engineer (Jun - Dec 2023). Built backend modules with Netty and PostgreSQL and worked on application performance.
