ECO SORT is an advanced waste collection system developed for urban areas. The system facilitates efficient waste management by allowing users to schedule waste collection, manage payment transactions, report issues, and make special requests. The platform helps urban communities maintain a cleaner environment by providing an organized and sustainable waste management process.
The waste management module allows users to:
- Register waste bins with unique QR codes for tracking.
- Monitor the status of bins, including the percentage of waste filled.
- Submit requests for waste collection and receive notifications of upcoming pickups.
The schedule management feature allows users to:
- View available collection schedules based on their location.
- Select specific days for waste collection, such as Monday, Wednesday, etc.
- Check the status of upcoming waste pickups, including the driver's assigned route.
- Easily reschedule collection in case of unexpected changes.
This module handles:
- Reporting issues related to waste collection (e.g., missed pickups, overflowing bins).
- Tracking issue resolutions and communicating directly with waste collection authorities.
- Providing an interface for admins to monitor issues and assign them to relevant teams.
The payment management section includes:
- Adding and validating card details for premium services, such as faster collection or special handling.
- Viewing transaction history for all waste collection-related payments.
- Sending notifications when payments are due or when a payment has been processed successfully.
