  UI overhaul: re-architect the workbench shell + interaction model around what we learned from v1.x. Concurrent with the breaking-change window — major-version bump lets us drop legacy compat surfaces (the { error } fallback body, the bowire-topbar-icon-btn dead class, etc.). Themed around a single comprehensive design pass, not feature-add.

  AI for security + protocol-plugin next wave Tier-4 security work chains off the #25 Phase 2 IChatClient seam (#59 threat-model, #60 Nuclei-template suggestion, #62 schema-aware fuzz values). Plus the next protocol wave (#33 Connect Phase 1+3 + OTLP, #34 AsyncAPI remaining bindings + V2 overloads + YAML pre-normaliser) and Git-native workspace (#58). Polyglot plugins via sidecar bridge stays open as a secondary goal.
