Thanks for putting together this genuinely useful collection of academic CV templates and guidelines! 🙏
One idea for readers who'd rather have their CV auto-filled than hand-edited: a pointer to an online tool. SigmaCV is a free, open-source web app (Apache-2.0 source) that builds an academic CV from the open research record — sign in with ORCID and it pulls your publications from OpenAlex/ORCID, then you curate and export. It also exports LaTeX (.tex + .bib), so it complements the templates here rather than replacing them.
Would you be open to a short "Online tools" or "Related tools" note? I'd be happy to send a small PR if so — entirely your call on scope and placement.
(Disclosure: I maintain SigmaCV.)
