Hi, I'm Lukas! ๐Ÿ‘‹

๐Ÿ’ซ About Me:

Iโ€™m currently studying Virtual Reality and Game Development at SRH University Heidelberg.
Last year I was on an exchange semester at Boise State University, where I studied GIMM (Games, Interactive Media, and Mobile). Currently working on my bachelor thesis at the KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), researching High-Performance C# using Unity DOTS (Data-Oriented Technology Stack) for complex urban simulations.

Iโ€™m looking for help with improving my skills in XR development and exploring networking, audio, and mobile development.

Iโ€™m currently diving into advanced Unity development for XR projects and advanced C# & .NET Ecosystems.

Ask me about developing VR/AR projects for devices like the Meta Quest or HoloLens 2, as well as creating projects in Unity and Unreal Engine.

Fun fact: Iโ€™m passionate about tech! Before diving into sofware development, I trained as an electrician specializing in automation technology.

  • VR-City-DOTS (2026)
    A low fidelity prototype for testing Unity DOTS in a low poly virtual city for a VR application, developed as part of my bachelor thesis researching high-performance C# for complex urban simulations.

  • Deployment Pipeline Pico (2025)
    A beginner-friendly guide demonstrating how to deploy the Unity VR template to the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise headset.

  • Assistive iOS App (2025)
    An assistive P2P tool that uses QR codes to help neurodivergent users communicate specific requests without verbal interaction.

  • VR Infinity Crane Game (2024, SFX/Music 2025)
    A virtual reality game developed for the Meta Quest 3, showcasing immersive gameplay and advanced physics simulations.

  • DigTL-VR (Fraunhofer Institute - IOSB) (2024)
    A project I contributed to as a Working Student. My responsibilities included developing features in Unity and managing version control with Git, advancing my skills to a professional level.

  • Goblin Quest (2024)
    A game made entirely in Unreal Engine using Blueprints, where you play as a knight battling goblins in a TBS fight.

  • Procedural 2D Game (2024)
    A procedural 2D game written in modern C++ using Raylib, featuring procedural generation, item management, and A* pathfinding to demonstrate OOP, templates, and algorithmic problem-solving.

  • Cursed Forest (2023-2024)
    A 2D platformer created with Unity, where you play as Quinn and strive to rescue a forest from overgrowth.

  • Native Android AR App (2023)
    A native Android app with database integration and CatAPI, built with Kotlin and Java.

  • The Ghosties (2023)
    A game developed with Raylib in C++, where an anonymous hero frees a haunted mansion from ghosts.
