Checking the guidelines, can we use MDAnalysis (TM) or does it need to be MDAnalysis (R)? Otherwise I don't see any other flags, but I'm far from the most knowledgeable here. Will the logo licensing text in the main repos also be updated accordingly? |

@lilyminium I have to apologize to you: you were right that we are supposed to be using ® instead ™. I double checked the NF guidelines and they say (R).
According to the internet, ® is federally registered trademark (which is what MDAnalysis is) whereas TM is just a claim to a trademark.
® can only be legally used with a registration.
following NF guidelines "Guide for Projects with a Registered Trademark"
