Proposal: Emscripten / Pyodide wheels

Is there any appetite for Emscripten wheels for MDAnalysis?

I'm looking at our pypi build system and it should be easy enough to try to add support for it.

Without providing an immediate opinion, I'll just share a fairly carefully tiered policy system NumPy uses for wheel platform support, which has https://numpy.org/neps/nep-0057-numpy-platform-support.html#tier-3. So, they have Emscripten/Pyodide without binaries on PyPI for now.

That ecosystem is pretty complicated I think, so I don't know how much of a problem it would be if i.e., pip install mdanalysis had to build a decent portion of its dependency stack from source. A primary use case is interactive docs rather than mass consumption by end users, right? So, I'm not sure that i.e., we'd necessarily get a flood of issues about unrelated build failures if other deps fail to build from source on that platform upon installation.
