How to update?

If you are using v2.8.2 (Lunar Windy) just with a restart the program will start updating however save your keys and credentials like API Keys.

If you are using v2.8.1 or lower you will have to manually update the program just backup database.sqlite and credentials such as API Keys and then replace the old files with the zip you download from this release. After that, import your saved credentials and database and run it again.

2.8.4 - Lunar Book

Added:

• Setup script! Just run npm run lapsus:setup after npm install to easilly configure your Lapsus Client instance

• ReCaptcha on the Linkvertise Page to avoid abuses

• Auto API: when you run npm run lapsus:setup it generates a 40 characters key for your API code/key and secret. This key is so powerful, be careful with it

• Node deployment script! You can run npm run lapsus:deploy to create a node to be deployed in the Create Server section without touching the settings.json (recommended if it's the first node you add | Currently in Beta)

• Music Player switch: Tired of the music? You can disable the music player in settings.json

• "No nodes available for deployment" if there are no nodes in settings.json

• Animations! We are starting to implement them so not all pages have animations

2.8.3 - Lunar Bridge

Added:

• Telemetry basics (Lapsus only recopiles basic information and not credentials). This data helps us to analize how Lapsus Client works, including its uptime, popular OSes where this runs on, etc.

Removed:

• Removed Heliactyl theme from official third party themes

• API Endpoints blocked to browsers as it was crashing instances

It is really important to update to this version to avoid people to crash your instance by accessing the /api endpoint. API endpoints still work but now they are only accessible with API code you should have set in settings.json (we recommend to set a non symbols code but with a large combination of characters).

Disclaimer: Maybe this was the main problem why Lapsus Client was still considered vulnerable (i saw how some people could crash it) and i found the possible problem. However, we still don’t know if people will keep finding ways to crash an instance but we will be fixing it.

2.8.2 - Lunar Windy

Added:

• Auto updater! Keep your Lapsus Client updated just by running the app. If you have an older version like 2.8.2 or later and you use an outdated version (imagine there's v2.8.5 and you're on 2.8.2), when you run Lapsus Client it will automatically search for updates and if it finds one, it will auto install it and restart your server (Beta: this feature may contain bugs, if you find one, please open issue)

• User information by Discord ID. Check user resources and information by using his Discord ID. You can find this feature in Admin > Plans

• Remove user resources

• Started working on J4R UI, however it is not available yet

• Started working on Admin/News UI, however it is not available yet
