Java 17 is installed. JAVA_HOME is set properly. Java is on the path. MegaMek will not launch.

Install Java
Unzip MegaMek with 7-Zip
Sad Face.

The logs folder is empty

Re-install Java 17 and follow the guide at https://github.com/MegaMek/megamek/wiki/Updating-to-Adoptium-(Eclipse-Temurin-Open-Source-Java) and be sure to follow EVERY step EXACTLY.

0.49.19.1 required Java 11 and officially supported Java 17.
