Request for new grouping schema of vehicle/vessel/multi-personnel object crews.
Due to the granularity of vehicle crews, skills, special abilities, etc the client may be better set up to group crews into 'light', 'heavy', 'assault', and 'superheavy' sized crew entities for vehicles and 'vessel' crews for small craft/dropships etc, so that the 'crew' entity can be assigned to a vehicle directly, and flag if personnel are not needed for that vehicle so they can be moved to another crew if desired. This can allow 'one touch' vehicle crew assignment/management with the option to fiddle around with exact crew size for specific 'crew' entities if desired (the unneeded crewman/men can just be left behind at base when deployed etc.).
As an example; A crew entity with 1 2 or 3 people and a minimum of 1 driver would be classified as a 'light crew' and could be assigned to, say, a J-27 Ordinance Truck or a Pegasus Scout Hover Tank with one action. This way, when re-configuring where your crews go, you just deal with the 'crew entity' rather than manually assigning each one. If you want to upgrade the crew to man a Manticore Heavy Tank, you just add another crewman and it can now be considered a 'heavy vehicle crew' as it can man 60 ton vehicles with 4 personel. The naming may be superfluous but could be a quick 'at a glance' indicator that could be handy. Ideally, it will auto-sort for veterancy if the crew is 'oversized' for the vehicle it is assigned to. Ideally, this would also allow crew skills/abilities to be factored as a whole rather than individually if that is possible. This should not remove/outright replace granular crew assignment, but be an option to reduce book keeping work and make vehicles more 'approachable/understandable' in the interface.
