Dialogue windows not opening through top bar menus

Brief Description *

I've been talking with @IllianiCBT through discord about the issue. Windows are not staying open by selecting them from the top bar (I.e. File, Marketplace, View. ect..) but they do open if i select them a different way. For example if i go to Marketplace and select Personnel Market, the window opens and closes immediately. However if i select Personnel Market from the daily activity log it opens up no problem. I cannot unfortunately provide a screenshot.
I am running MekHQ thorough Linux on a Chromebook and using v0.50.04.

3. Steps to Reproduce

1. Select File at the top.
2. Select Manage Campaign (or any other option really)
3. The window will flash on screen then disappear.

I'm taking a look at this, to see if maybe I can fathom the cause and I spotted that your configuration doesn't appear to be set up properly, which is potentially the cause.

Take a look at the conversation in this issue report: MegaMek/megamek#6765 and see if it allows you to figure out what steps you need to take to get this working.

Whether fixing your java configuration works or not, please let me know. As it will be very useful information moving forward.
