[RFE] Improve Visibility of Assignments in TOE

Brief Description of Enhancement *

When a unit is selected in the TOE, present the following information to the user:

• Transport Details
  • What units are assigned to be transported by this unit?
  • How much space does this unit have for the transport types?
  • Available tonnage for convoy purposes?
• C3 Details
  • What units are slaved to this C3 Master?

For reference, when I redid transport I did not include this information because there is insufficient space with the current TOE layout. I think a good location for this would be a third tab on the right hand selected unit container - So it’d be “Pilot”, “Unit”, “Details”(? Assignments? More? Other?).

Use Cases or Rationale

Certain information is only displayed “one way”. A transport or C3 Master does not currently display what it’s transporting or what slaves it has. That information is only presented on the unit being transported / the C3 Slave. This can make it difficult for players to determine what units a transport is transporting / what C3 units are in a master’s network.

@IllianiBird Before anyone starts on this, do you think there is any more information that should be displayed to users in the same location?

I'd add that the full C3 network should be displayed if possible. If not, at least the master and slave relationships because you can make your way through the full network by looking at all of the master mechs.

If possible I'd suggest displaying the C3 network in a pre-expanded tree view (like the TOE is a tree view).

Be sure to refer to the picture of valid network configurations on TW 132 to be sure that all of them display properly.

Also, should probably make sure C3i and C3 Boosted are displayed correctly as well.

Here's a campaign with various C3 setups with all canon units. It includes C3, C3 Boosted, and C3 Emergency Master in configs 1 & 2.

It also includes a C3i lance, which does not appear linkable in the TOE. (This appears to be a long standing issue: #3414)
