My name is Minhajur Rahman.I received an Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). My academic supervisor was Dr. Yingwei Wang from UPEI's School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (SMCS). During my time there, I also worked as a research assistant and developer for the Health Centred Research Clinic, where I was overseen by Dr. William J Montelpare. My current research goal is to investigate how information technologies can be used to create efficient data systems, that monitor population health indicators, track clinical services, identify critical resource gaps, detect risks, enable appropriate information sharing, and inform actions. Other research interests include: Machine Learning, Health Informatics, Predictive Analytics, and Cloud Computing.
